Worship The venue is completely full and it's quiet. A one meeting hosts have to open a window on both sides of the courtroom. It's hot. Now it's time for today's third preacher. He speaks fluent German. The other two Russian and Plautdietsch. The sermon takes us to the former mennonitiske colonies of the former Soviet Union. Dissolved by Stalin in 1930 - and 1940's, these colonies hardly exist in people's memory. Mennonites and other similar anabaptistiske groups and settled in large numbers around the West German cities. Within incometaxindiaefiling gov a few decades, the German anabaptistiske population increased from a few thousand members to as many as 100,000. People like to call them 'Russia's Germans' - ie Germans from Russia - and these immigrants have established a new ethnic sub-group within Germany. We speak different dialects Mennonite, and sometimes also Central Asian languages. Not all of these congregations call themselves Mennonites incometaxindiaefiling gov - but they identify as one, as Anabaptist. They are influenced in varying degrees of Pentecost, incometaxindiaefiling gov the Russian Baptists and various renewal groups. They call themselves 'Mennonite incometaxindiaefiling gov brothers' or Baptists or free evangelical.
