Israel italy population 54 218 refugees as of end 2012, of which 37 347 -10 743 Eritreans and Sudan

Home About the background music of Aiston posts so long that ... Heroes are born in death copyrights mystics, photographers, etc. policy responses helped Laiston continue writing Thank Journal Aiston sensitive information Laiston italy population Aiston media
Last week, the UN refugee report. Through and through other sources of information, I'm concentrating here a current picture, understanding the subject Eritreans and Sudanese who are in our country. The idea is to provide a simple guide but not simplistic, italy population which automatically falls opinion of either party Israelis debate. Post rarely discuss italy population the morality of the issue (which is open to interpretation), but an attempt to first understand what the actual reality, before we argue about being positive or negative and what we can do about that reality. I'll try to provide such common with the facts, regardless of whether they support views right or the left (I screw up here and there, so forgive me). You are welcome to check my sources and calculations. If there is a dry bias of information, it will be the right approach for the benefit of the subject, since the information is issued by the state and the current right-wing government and the previous and relied on reports from human rights organizations, other than the number of individual cases in which there was no information from the state.
Israel italy population 54 218 refugees as of end 2012, of which 37 347 -10 743 Eritreans and Sudanese. This means that for every 1,000 residents have about 994 Israelis, 4.66 Eritreans and Sudanese -1.34. Concerned that they "take us to the state," Here's an illustration:
What is true is that as a result of its size, Israel is the place to fifth in the ratio of the refugee area, which strengthens the claim that "Israel italy population too small." But it is only a statistical load that it was actually the refugees every 2.3 square mile. The problem of course is not the dispersion over the entire territory of the State of Israel, but a handful of locations. So basically most of the state has 0 refugees per square kilometer, while the neglected places are in the thousands of refugees per square kilometer.
Taking the TA as an example, with its 52 square kilometers, based on the average, each TA will total 120 Eritreans and Sudanese. Course we all know it's a joke. Actual situation is Ramat Aviv to South Tel Aviv does not in fact a refugee . Because the conduct of government and the municipality made this area such as Neve Shanan (along with the Central Station and the neighborhoods behind), bring the total hovered around 4 sq km, the center within tens of thousands of refugees. Estimates range from 15 000 to -32 500 - depending on who you ask . Either way, it comes to about 2000-6000 refugees sq km (compared to the national average of 2.3), so it's easy to see the non-equality in how the state manages the treatment of refugees.
Not only that, but also so that IA is more densely populated cities in Israel with 7,500 people per square kilometer. Neve Shanan italy population area is characterized by low and many homes do not allow residential areas (parking lots, abandoned buildings, italy population offices, workshops, etc.), so the density residential purposes, is actually much higher. italy population Imagine if for example you have currently 25 tenants in the building, italy population then tomorrow come another 500 who do not speak the language and because the government, most also unemployed. It is about the situation italy population for residents of these neighborhoods and it's italy population not about that refugees are Sudanese or Eritreans. If I ask you, without prior knowledge about the type of population, do you think it's a good idea to crowd tens of thousands of people, an area full of crime, drugs, poverty and prostitution then add tens of thousands of unemployed people who do not speak the language, is there anyone you did not think it ends badly? Would you need to ask the nationality of those who join before you conclude that it is a recipe for trouble?
The definition of a refugee is not an argument between people online, but the definition of the UN. Though Netanyahu government tried for years to get people to think it left responsible for the situation, in fact no right authority on the subject and probably italy population a quarter of the Knesset (left) did not impose his opinion on the rest of the Knesset (This is just an excuse to avoid from using real solutions). Eritrean and Sudanese refugees currently considered automatically according to the UN, even when they pass through a third country and even if the cause of their escape is related to military service in their country (or rather - they Zcain protections equivalent to that of Fleet). One can argue about the UN's righteousness, but you can not argue about that this decision taken. Equally, one can argue whether Israel should withdraw refugee convention and conduct Bank accepted, but you can not argue that as long as we signed the Convention, the law requires us to act accordingly.
Anyway, as of now, according to the State of Israel approved Total 104 applications for refugee status (close to 200 have been approved and nearly a century since left). So what about all the other 54 thousand? 330 people returned to South Sudan with the agreement (debate about whether this consent is truly part of the discussion in this post). The actual number of returnees is higher, but for argument's sake I'll just use the data reported by the state to the UN. 5699 people are waiting for an answer regarding their request and the state does its best not to give such an answer. Out of the 37 thousand Eritreans country and thousands of their requests, only 27 cases were closed italy population during the 2012 (19 received refugee status and 8 were rejected.) food for thought to ask: 27 cases were treated and you still think it's left holding up care in your neighborhood?
48 401 additional people are defined in the "Android - Emissions", which means they enjoy protection group, under the country of origin. This means that although the State of Israel has not recognized as refugees (that is to stay out of it at all), Eritrean and Sudanese refugees are protected until they prove that they are not.
About 45 million people were displaced by force in 2012. 36 million of them were in some state of homelessness also at the end of the year, when 18 ~ million still in their country of origin, and 10.5 million are refugees in foreign countries. So no need to demagoguery - Israel can not handle it and it does not handles anything Ex.
