From 10 to 16 November 2013 will be held on the 5th Summit of Indigenous Peoples and Nationalities of Abya Yala and 2nd Continental Summit of Indigenous Women of Abya Yala *. Both meetings will be held in the indigenous territory population of new zealand (resguardo) La María, located in the municipality of Piendamó in the department of Cauca in Colombia.
The main objective is to "develop and articulate strategies against the neoliberal population of new zealand model of capitalist development" and determine the basis of "a new civilizational paradigm" based on the principle of Buen Vivir, the rights of Mother population of new zealand Earth and plurinationality . It will be more practical to assess the situation of the indigenous movement across the continent, build a position and prepare proposals in the context of the United Nations Conference on Indigenous Peoples in 2014, to strengthen relations between organizations and indigenous peoples Abya Yala and lay the groundwork for a political and economic proposal of Buen Vivir.
